2024-2025 Foreign Language Scholarship Results

In addition to the students who continue as scholars, a total of 80 regular and 6 substitute scholars have been and will be awarded Foreign Language Scholarships in October and April in the 2024-2025 academic year.

How to Proceed?

Primary List:

• Applicants whose names are on the shortlist will be contacted by e-mail and some documents will be requested depending on the information they provide in the application. First of all, they must complete the requested documents by Monday, October 28, 2024.
• Each page of the commitment letter must be signed, scanned and uploaded to your form on bursverenler.org.
• Choose the language school they want to attend and take the placement test.
• Scholars are obliged to inform the Foundation about the language school they have chosen. At this stage, the Foundation will be in contact with the language school. If the language school prefers, it can make a contract with the foundation and guarantee its payments.

Important Note:

Foreign Language Scholarship winners are required to continue their education at a rate of 60% and to move to the next level. Otherwise, the scholarship will be forfeited. For each level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2), a scholarship of 2,800.-TL is awarded separately. If you pass to the next level with 80% or more success, an additional 500.-TL success incentive is given at the new level and your scholarship becomes 3,300.-TL. You will pay the remaining part of the fee to be charged by the educational institution of your choice. The scholarship you receive is 19.300.-TL in total if you can receive the success incentives, or 16.800.-TL from A1 to C2 if you cannot. Those who start at the intermediate level will continue to be paid until all courses are completed within the framework of the scholarship regulations.

Reserve List:

If the people on the primary list do not complete their documents within the given period, if any of the scholarship recipients completes their scholarship level, loses their scholarship right, or if the board of directors increases the number of language scholarships, the people on the reserve list are entitled to the scholarship respectively.
