🍞 Poverty prevents people from achieving various goals, such as access to water, food, and education. The goal of Ending Poverty aims to completely eliminate poverty and its consequences, while increasing access to basic resources and services.
💰 Example: Grameen Bank introduced a microcredit system that helps low-income people establish livelihoods. The bank was founded by Bangladeshi economist and social entrepreneur Muhammad Yunus, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
❓ So, What Can We Do as Young People Regarding This Issue?
💯 Actively communicating with decision-making mechanisms will significantly contribute to addressing poverty. By advocating for our rights, supporting intergenerational knowledge sharing, and encouraging innovative ideas, we can help transform people's lives.
