Green Is Future Erasmus+ Project | Youth and Sustainable Living

The Green Is Future Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Project took place in Greece between 11–18 July 2024. It aimed to raise youth awareness of environmental issues, climate change, and sustainable living.

What Was the Project About?

With participants from different countries, the project offered both theoretical and practical learning. Through training sessions, group work, and creative discussions, participants gained knowledge on topics such as carbon footprint, recycling, sustainable consumption, and personal responsibility.

What Did the Participants Gain?

• Increased awareness of environmental sustainability
• Personal responsibility in combating climate change
• Teamwork, communication, and leadership skills
• Expanded social networks and intercultural interaction
• Motivation to become ambassadors of ecological living

Conclusion

The Green Is Future project not only informed youth about the environment but also empowered them to become advocates for nature. Participants returned home with strong motivation to make a difference in their communities.
