Crying from Laughter
Have you ever cried out of happiness?
Even if we don’t cry from happiness, there must have been times when a tear rolled down our cheek while laughing.
We cannot say that crying only expresses sadness. Because crying is a release of emotion. It is a reaction our body gives. People cry out of anger, sadness, and even happiness. Tears are not always a sign of pain, but of overflow.
This actually shows how emotional and deep human beings are. Our body wants to release intense emotions, and this reaction appears as tears.
Perhaps you have seen it around you; someone who experiences intense emotions but does not cry, cannot cry, because they are probably rejecting their feelings, maybe even avoiding them. Yet, whether we want it or not, we will face emotions throughout our lives.
The reactions of our body protect us. They help us release emotions, not keep them inside, and truly feel them. Isn’t feeling what makes us human?
A part of life...
Sometimes we laugh so much that we even forget why we are laughing… But that little tear that falls in that moment quietly carries away everything that has built up inside us. Laughter feels good; being able to cry from laughter, for me, is saying “I am living this moment”...
Not only experiencing emotions, but also how we experience them matters.
Maybe sharing,
maybe crying,
maybe writing,
or maybe listening and resting.
May your eyes always fill with tears from laughter.
Wishing you a life spent with people who make you so happy that you cry from laughter.
