The entrance foyer of Yücel Arts Center hosts the photography exhibition “Sage Within / İçindeki Bilge” by Gülüm İmrat. Emerging from the streets of Istanbul, the narrative invites visitors to embark on their own inner journey through the themes of awakening, transformation, and rebirth. Alongside photographs, the exhibition offers a multi-layered experience with a looping short film and site-specific ambience elements. This is the first exhibition to be held in Yücel Arts Center’s art gallery.

Exhibition Experience

Built around the framework of the “Hero’s Journey”, each frame invites viewers to reflect on their own stories. The short film will run in a continuous loop throughout the exhibition, with its audio filling the space. The photographs are printed on canvas and displayed on the walls; those interested can purchase them via sanateserleri.org. Smaller-sized prints, perfect as keepsakes, will also be available for purchase in the exhibition area. The entire space is open for visitors to explore freely.
