At Yücel Cultural Foundation, we value bringing young people together with high-quality theatre productions and aim to transform stage experiences into encounters that are not only watched, but also reflected upon and shared.

Within this framework, we invite our participants to experience the play “Good Morning” as part of the Culture Hunters project.

This one-act, 60-minute play focuses on the relationship between a mother and daughter who have no one but each other, living largely within the confines of their home and long-established routines. Surrounded by memories, objects, and the weight of life’s circumstances, their bond is reshaped through themes of love, the need for approval, pressure, emotional fragility, and the search for communication.

While the daughter struggles to carve out space for herself within the harsh realities of life, the mother’s unstable behavior, controlling attitude, and difficulty in expressing affection push their relationship to a fragile breaking point. The play brings the emotional ups and downs of these two characters to the stage with an atmosphere that is at times suffocating, yet deeply engaging.

“Good Morning” offers a powerful theatrical experience that invites the audience to reflect on family dynamics, caregiving relationships, shifting roles, and the often invisible burdens of living together.

Discover Theatre More Deeply with Culture Hunters

The Culture Hunters project by Yücel Cultural Foundation aims to make cultural and artistic events more accessible to young people, while encouraging them to reflect on and share their experiences.

Culture Hunters is not just an audience community; it is a space where young individuals come together to build a deeper connection with theatre, music, exhibitions, and other forms of art. Through these events, participants gain access to high-quality productions while also contributing to a shared cultural experience.

“Good Morning” is one of the productions featured within the Culture Hunters program, inviting its audience to reflect on family relationships, emotional thresholds, and the limits of communication.
