June 4–11, 2025 – The Erasmus+ project held in Kaunas, Lithuania aimed to raise awareness among young people on environmental, social, and economic sustainability through a development-focused approach.
Participants had the opportunity to recognize and engage in both local and global sustainability issues and solution-building processes.
The project aimed to empower young people as active stakeholders aligned with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Emphasis was placed on building environmental awareness, promoting democratic participation, and equipping youth with knowledge and skills for a sustainable future.
It also enhanced participants’ abilities to reflect and take action in areas such as nature, environment, social equality, and economic literacy.
The participants returned home not only with environmental knowledge but also with well-rounded skills that supported their personal development.
They completed the project motivated to transfer their sustainability awareness into local youth initiatives. Through international connections made during the project, they also opened doors to future collaborations.
Projects like this provide powerful learning environments that enable young people to make a difference both personally and socially. With every step toward a more sustainable world, youth voices grow stronger.
