♿🌍 Erasmus+ Training Course: PRO/ABILITY LAB
PRO/ABILITY LAB, a training course focused on strengthening disability inclusion, accessibility, and equal participation in youth work, will take place in Messina, Italy, from October 23 to 30, 2026.

The training aims to support youth workers in identifying physical, sensory, cognitive, and social barriers in advance, designing more inclusive activities, adapting their practices to different needs, and developing practical tools for more accessible youth work.

Priority: Applicants aged 18 - 30 with at least B1-level English will be prioritized.

🌍 International Learning Environment

PRO/ABILITY LAB will bring together 28 participants from Italy, Bulgaria, Germany, Croatia, North Macedonia, Slovakia, and Türkiye.

Participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences on inclusion, accessibility, and equal participation with youth workers from different countries, learn more about youth work practices across Europe, and become part of an international learning environment.

💶 Erasmus+ Support

  • Travel: Travel support will be provided within the budget determined according to the Erasmus+ distance band.
  • Accommodation: Covered by the project.
  • Meals: Meals included in the project program will be covered by the project.

Participants are expected to arrange their travel in line with the project rules and the information provided by the organizers.

🔄 After the Training

Participants are expected to use the knowledge, methods, and tools gained during the training in their own organizations, groups, or local youth work and, whenever possible, share them with other youth workers.

For this reason, we recommend clearly describing your experience in youth work, your volunteering background, and how you plan to benefit from this training in the application form.

✨ Notes

  • Experience in youth work and volunteering will be considered during the selection process.
  • Applicants with at least B1-level English will be prioritized.
  • In urgent cases, priority may be given to applicants who hold a green passport or a valid visa for Italy.
  • Participants are expected to transfer what they learn into their local work after the project.
