🌍 Erasmus+ Youth Exchange: Roots & Roads
Are you ready to meet young people from different cultures, challenge prejudices, and work together towards more inclusive communities?
Roots & Roads is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange designed to support the more active participation of Roma, migrant, and refugee youth in social and civic life.
Taking place in Bansko, Bulgaria, the project will bring together 36 participants from 6 countries. Through creative, participatory, and non-formal learning methods, participants will explore intercultural learning, discrimination and prejudice, active citizenship, and inclusion.

- Travel Support Note: Travel support will be provided only for land transportation under the Green Travel scheme.
🎯 What Will the Project Include?
- Intercultural learning and exchange

The project will use non-formal learning methods that encourage participants to actively contribute throughout the experience.
👥 Who Can Apply?
- Young people aged 18 - 25
- Those who are open to learning and working with young people from different cultures
- Applicants who can actively participate in all project activities
- Young people interested in intercultural communication and inclusion
- Those who are willing to share their experiences and learning with their communities after the project
5 participants will be selected from Türkiye.
📌 Priority will be given to applicants who hold a valid Schengen visa or a Turkish special passport (green passport).

By completing the project, participants are expected to develop their knowledge, experience, and skills in the following areas:
- Communicating effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Strengthening intercultural awareness and empathy

- Developing ideas that can be applied within their own local communities after the project
🌍 An International Learning Experience
Roots & Roads will bring together 36 young people from 6 countries in a shared learning environment. Participants will have the opportunity to discover different cultures and life experiences, share their own perspectives, and reflect together on diversity.
The project will focus particularly on inclusion, equality, prejudice, and active citizenship through the experiences and participation of Roma, migrant, and refugee youth in social and civic life.
Through methods such as Living Library, community mapping, and creative group activities, participants will not only discuss these topics but also develop ideas that can contribute to more inclusive local communities.

- 5 participants will be selected from Türkiye.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old.
