On Saturday, December 21, we continued with the second step of our "Volunteering Workshop for Solving Social Issues", held at Kolektif House Ankara as part of International Volunteer Day! 🌍💪
During this special event in Ankara:
✅ We gained insights into the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and discussed how these goals can be aligned with volunteering. We focused specifically on "Quality Education" (SDG 4), "Reduced Inequalities" (SDG 10), and "Climate Action" (SDG 13).
✅ Our participants analyzed social issues and developed solution-oriented mini projects.
✅ We emphasized the importance of collaboration and coordination in effective volunteering through interactive activities.
✅ We discussed how volunteering can create more impactful and long-term results with different stakeholders.
🎯 Our Gains:
🌟 Our participants gained a deeper understanding of the critical role SDGs play in solving social issues.
🌟 They developed awareness of how volunteering projects can be aligned with global goals.
🌟 They enhanced their solution-oriented thinking skills and took the first steps toward actionable volunteer projects.
🌟 They gained the ability to design projects supported by empathy and collaboration skills aimed at addressing the problems of various segments of society.
We sincerely thank Kolektif House Ankara for hosting this meaningful event, AltıÜstü Psikoloji for their support during the organization process, and our facilitating volunteer trainers. 🤝💚
