As Yücel Cultural Foundation Youth Club, we are coming together online this July with photographer, writer, and educator Ömer Orhun.

Artificial intelligence is no longer only part of the technology world; it has also become an important part of education, art, communication, and daily life. In this session, we will discuss the effects of AI on people, technology, and the future through Ömer Orhun’s book Parlak Karanlık.

You do not need to have read the entire book to participate. Anyone who is curious, questioning, eager to learn, and open to sharing ideas can be part of this conversation.

👤 About the Speaker

Ömer Orhun is a photographer, writer, and educator. He graduated from the Photography Department of Mimar Sinan University. He worked for many years as a photo editor in the press sector, completed his master’s degree at Yıldız Technical University, and has taught in the field of communication design.

Orhun works on photography, technology, and human perception, and has participated in many exhibitions in Türkiye and abroad. He is known for his work on ways of seeing, technology, and artificial intelligence, and gives seminars and workshops at various universities and institutions.

He is also the author of the poetry books Aşıkmışız and Bırak Tembel Çıksın Resmimiz, as well as Parlak Karanlık: Yapay Zekâ ile Yolda Olma Hali.
