Volunteer needs in the programmes, events and projects of the Yücel Cultural Foundation vary according to the area of work and the period. You can take responsibility in a suitable area based on your interests, experience and available time.

The areas listed on this page do not represent permanently open job or task postings. Current needs are determined according to programme schedules, project scope, team capacity and application volume.

Which areas may need volunteer support?

The areas below show the main fields in which the Foundation may work with volunteers. The scope of each role is defined separately according to the needs of the relevant programme.

Youth Programmes and Clubs

Support for the preparation and implementation of training, meetings, clubs and development programmes that bring young people together.

Events and Organisation

Participant communication, registration, welcoming, schedule follow-up and organisational support for in-person or online events.

Training and Facilitation

Content or facilitation support in training, workshops, peer learning and group activities for volunteers with suitable knowledge and experience.

Culture and Arts Activities

Taking part in arts programmes, workshops, performances and activities that support young people’s access to culture and the arts.

Communication and Digital Content

Contributing to writing, visuals, video, social media, translation, research and digital communication according to your skills and interests.

National and International Projects

Research, preparation, participant support and implementation roles in youth exchanges, volunteering activities and project partnerships.

Book and Solidarity Activities

Periodic roles in book campaigns, library support and social solidarity activities announced when a need arises.

Project Development and Research

Support for researching new project ideas, needs analysis, content development, stakeholder mapping and application preparation.

What can you do as a volunteer?

Roles are determined by considering the volunteer’s skills together with the needs of the programme.

Preparation and Planning

  • Conducting research before an event or project,
  • Supporting the preparation of task lists and implementation schedules,
  • Assisting the team with participant and stakeholder communication.

Implementation Support

  • Taking part in registration, welcoming and guidance processes,
  • Following the event flow and participant needs,
  • Providing technical and moderation support for online meetings.

Content and Visibility

  • Preparing announcements, news and social media content,
  • Providing photography, video, design or translation support,
  • Helping document the outcomes of activities.

Sharing Knowledge and Experience

  • Contributing to workshops or meetings related to your area of expertise,
  • Facilitating peer learning and group work,
  • Supporting the onboarding and learning process of new volunteers.

Volunteer matching considers not only experience, but also willingness to learn, interests, availability, communication style and the current needs of the relevant activity.

From Application to Participation

How does the volunteering process work?

  1. Application Form

    You share your interests and experience in the Volunteer Application Form.

  2. Preliminary Assessment

    Your application is reviewed together with current volunteer needs and areas of work.

  3. Introduction and Matching

    If a suitable area is identified, the role, expectations and schedule are discussed together.

  4. Orientation

    Depending on the scope of the activity, information is provided about the Foundation, team, responsibilities and working principles.

  5. Volunteer Activity

    You participate in team activities in line with the agreed roles and responsibilities.

Application Does Not Guarantee Placement in a Specific Project

Each application is assessed according to the volunteer’s preferences, current programme needs, working conditions and team capacity. If no suitable match is available, an application may not immediately lead to a role.
